Canon EOS 5D Mark III Digital Camera Body Kit
With supercharged EOS performance and stunning full frame, high-resolution image capture, the Canon EOS 5D Mark III Digital Camera Body is designed to perform. Special optical technologies like the 61-Point High Density Reticular AF and an extended ISO range of 100-25600 (expandable to 50 (L), 51200 (H1) and 102400 (H2) make the EOS 5D Mark III ideal for shooting weddings in the studio or out in the field, and great for still photography. Advanced professional-level high definition video capabilities (that includes a host of industry-standard recording protocols and enhanced performance) make it possible to capture beautiful cinematic movies in EOS HD quality.
A newly designed 22.3 Megapixel full-frame Canon CMOS sensor, Canon DIGIC 5+ Image Processor, and shooting performance up to 6.0 fps provide exceptional clarity and sharpness, even when capturing rapidly-unfolding scenes. Additional technological advancements include an Intelligent Viewfinder, Canon's advanced iFCL metering system, High Dynamic Range (HDR), and Multiple Exposure mode — all of which that help make the EOS 5D Mark III the perfect multimedia tool.
22.3 Megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor
The EOS 5D Mark III features a newly developed Canon full-frame 22.3 Megapixel CMOS sensor that's designed from the ground up to create high resolution, perfectly detailed images with unprecedented speed and clarity. A full 24 x 36mm, the sensor captures 5784 x 3861 large individual 6.25 µm pixels and has a much-improved S/N ratio resulting in better images from the start. A new photodiode structure with an increased photoelectric conversion rate increases the sensor's sensitivity by approximately 2 stops over previous models, meaning higher ISOs with the lowest noise of any EOS digital camera. And a 2-line 8-channel simultaneous signal readout means speeds of up to 6.0 fps (RAW + JPEG) are possible!
14-bit A/D conversion, wide range ISO setting 100-25600 (L: 50, H1: 51200, H2: 102400)
The EOS 5D Mark III not only offers 14-bit signal processing for excellent image gradation, it delivers higher standard and expanded ISOs, and a score of new options to enhance shooting in varied and fast-changing lighting situations. With a standard range of ISO 100-25600, the EOS 5D Mark III represents a 2-stop increase in sensitivity over previous cameras. Thanks to the improved signal-to-noise ratio of the new sensor and powerful noise reduction, the EOS 5D Mark III can shoot at expanded sensitivities down to ISO 50 (L) and up to 51200 (H1), and even 102400 (H2)! Beyond the obvious advantages of its wide ISO range, the EOS 5D Mark III has automatic ISO settings, found on the dedicated ISO menu. Minimum and maximum ISO settings can be specified, as can a user-defined range, plus full auto and manual.
DIGIC 5+ Image Processor for enhanced noise reduction and blazing processing speed
For a whole new level of performance, the EOS 5D Mark III uses a DIGIC 5+ Image Processor. Working with two 4-channel A/D converter front-end processing circuits, and delivering speeds of up to 6.0 fps (RAW + JPEG), and the DIGIC 5+ Image Processor improves data processing performance and features new algorithms that promote greater noise reduction at higher ISOs. In addition to conventional image processing functions the DIGIC 5+ Image Processor offers real-time compensation for chromatic aberration in both still and motion images. With the power of this processor, speed improvements are noticeable from the instant the camera is turned on and the stunning results speak for themselves.
All new 61-Point High Density Reticular AF
The newly designed 61-Point High Density Reticular AF features an Offset Array Sensor (with staggering AF point arrangement) to deliver greater accuracy, no matter the situation. It offers multi-zone wide-area AF for better tracking, has 5 central dual cross-type points (f/2.8 diagonal), 21 central cross-type points (f/5.6 horizontal & vertical) and 20 outer cross-type points (f/4.0 horizontal), and is sensitive in extremely low-light situations (EV-2 for a central point with a f/2.8 lens).
The EOS 5D Mark III has a dedicated AF menu tab, so AF can be controlled without having to go through custom function menus. It also has 6 AF point selection methods (Spot, Single Point, Single + Adjacent 4 Points, Single + Adjacent 8 Points, Zone Selection, and Automatic AF Point Selection), plus a dedicated AF configuration tool for control of AI Servo AF III tracking parameters (tracking sensitivity, acceleration/deceleration tracking, and AF point auto switching).
iFCL Metering with 63-zone dual-layering metering sensor
The EOS 5D Mark III features Canon's multi-layer 63-zone iFCL (intelligent Focus Color Luminance) Metering System that integrates the cameras AF system into its readings. By taking into account the color and luminosity surrounding the chosen AF point(s), this new system delivers an entirely new level of accuracy, especially in situations where the light changes quickly. The metering sensor enables evaluative, center weighted, partial and spot metering, plus offers 5-step exposure compensation for perfectly exposed images, every time.
EOS HD Video with manual exposure control, multiple frame rates and selectable All i-frame or IPB compression
Addressing the requests of the pros and building on the unprecedented success of its namesake, the EOS 5D Mark III captures HD video with a level of sophistication on par with professional movie cameras offering phenomenal performance on a DSLR. It offers both All-I and IPB compression, supports H.264/MPEG-4 AVC High Profile, and automatically splits files greater than 4GB (FAT specifications) for extended recording without interruption. It offers the option of timecoding during recording only (Rec Run) or at all times (Free Run), useful for multi-camera shoots. It also features improved sound recording adjustment capabilities, offering 64-step volume control accessible through the Quick Control screen during video shooting, plus a dedicated headphone jack for convenience in shooting. The CMOS sensor's new drive system significantly increases image processor performance, reducing color artifacts and moiré (a common problem that occurs in scenes with horizontal lines), and ensures that the EOS 5D Mark III can record at a number of frame rates up to ISO 25600 in H mode.
High-Speed Continuous Shooting
The EOS 5D Mark III combines fast 8-channel data readout from its 22.3 Megapixel CMOS sensor and the supercharged processing capabilities of its DIGIC 5+ Image Processor with a speedier shutter and mirror system to raise the performance bar for all digital cameras, capturing full-frame images and recording them fast to UDMA or SD cards stored in the camera's dual card slots. Ideal for fixed focus situations, the EOS 5D Mark III can shoot up to 6.0 fps (RAW + JPEG).
Magnesium alloy body with shutter durability and dust- and weather-resistance
For professionals who demand nothing less than the best, the EOS 5D Mark III is designed to perform superbly, even in the most treacherous environments, every time. The body is constructed of rigid, high-strength magnesium alloy for rugged performance and features a new grip design for easier finger placement and reduced hand fatigue. Its newly redesigned shutter has lightweight and carbon-fiber blades, and is rated to maintain up to 6.0 fps performance without compromise, for up to 150,000 cycles. The EOS 5D Mark III and accessories like the new Wireless File Transmitter WFT-E7A and GPS Receiver GP-E2 have extensive gasketing for improved dust and water resistance, even at their connection points.
Self Cleaning Sensor Unit
The Self Cleaning Sensor Unit featured in the EOS 5D Mark II has been optimized for the new EOS 5D Mark III to deliver even greater dust removal for clearer images. To prevent dust accumulation, the system removes particles adhered to the surface of the infrared absorbing/ultraviolet-blocking glass in a frontward direction by vibrating the glass with ultrasound. The particles are then absorbed by an adsorbent at the bottom of the unit; the unit itself is completely sealed for protection against external contaminants, and its front face of the low-pass filter 1 is treated with an anti-dust fluorine coating making it easier to remove damp or sticky dust particles.
Intelligent Viewfinder with Superimposed LCD
The EOS 5D Mark III's Intelligent Viewfinder offers a sharp, bright approximately 100% field of view with an approximate magnification of .71x, a viewing angle of 34.1° and a 21mm eye-point. With a new construction featuring aspherical lens elements, the viewfinder displays less distortions and color aberrations than previous models. It uses a transparent LCD to superimpose a customizable combination of focus points and gridlines directly over the image. The AF status indicator can even be directed to display within or outside of the viewfinders image area. With the intelligent viewfinder, unlike with other cameras, the photographer has the choice of seeing shooting information or looking only at the scene in front of the camera. The ability to effectively erase all shooting data and turn it back on with the touch of a button gives the photographer the opportunity to concentrate simply on looking and composing the photograph without distraction, a great advantage in numerous shooting situations.
3.2" TFT LCD Monitor
The EOS 5D Mark III's 3.2" TFT LCD monitor has 1,040,000 dots, anti-reflective construction and features Canon's Clear View II technology for bright, sharp display in any number of shooting situations. It's ideal for reviewing settings and images, as well as for shooting in Live View mode. In Live View, grid lines can be displayed in 9 sections, 24 sections, or 9 sections with diagonals, as can the dual-axis electronic level, which helps ensure accurate level by displaying both roll and pitch. For image review, the EOS 5D Mark III has a new, dedicated Magnify/Reduce button. While pressing the button, zooming in or out (up to 10x) is achieved simply by turning the Main Dial. Images can be protected or erased quickly, individually or in batches, and slideshows can be created with some or all images and can be sequenced by date, folders, movies, stills or rating. A feature guide can be accessed for the selected menu, providing detailed reference information whenever needed.
New High Dynamic Range (HDR)
With its new High Dynamic Range (HDR) mode, the EOS 5D Mark III can merge 3 images of varying exposure, in camera, capturing a broad range of shadow and highlight detail and delivering an image with stunning tonal range. Adjustable to cover a range of ±3 stops, and with 5 different effect settings, HDR recording truly expands the parameters of the light and dark detail a camera can actually record, surprising viewers with the range of tones a photograph can accurately recreate.
Multiple Exposure Control
The EOS 5D Mark III offers a new multiple exposure mode for film-like image creation with the convenience of in-camera processing. It offers 4 different compositing methods for proper exposure and composition: additive, average, bright and dark. Multiple exposure shots can be taken in both RAW and JPEG shooting modes, previously captured RAW images can be used as a starting point, and cumulative results can be observed and corrected in real time on the camera's LCD screen. For multiple exposure captures of quickly moving subjects, the EOS 5D Mark III even has a specific continuous shooting multiple exposure mode.

5D mark 111
My two sons and I attended a photo workshop in Northern Italy last fall. Our instructor and guide and 8 of the 11 participants were using Canon 5D Mark 111 Camera bodies. Much of the hands on instruction during the workshop was directed at how we could maximize, to the fullest, all of the many fine controls these Mark 111 cameras have to achieve extremely fine digital images. I had been barely scratching the surface of this camera body and it's full potential before. I have two other digital systems that I use and the Canon Mark 111 is now the one that I carry when I want images to be of the finest digital quality. On 3/16/2015 by Paul Thomas
Great store and great camera
Pictureline has always been helpful in helping me choose camera equipment. I have enjoyed my Canon 5d Mk3 camera, for both still and video photography. The features and image quality have been superb. On 3/10/2015 by Carl Clyde
My go to camera back
Never fails (except when some bozo forgets to turn it off and ends up with a flat battery when a rare bird or insect shows up). Would recommend it without any reservations. So far, I've not been able to damage it when out in the field (rain, dirt, sand, mud, seagull poop). Maybe this year.On 3/9/2015 by K. S. Matz
I love my Canon 5D Mark III. The color rendition (especially paired with the 100 mm macro lens) is superb. As a food photographer, I rely on the 5D to consistently produce good results--and it never fails. I used to be a Nikon shooter, but this camera converted me to Canon. On 3/8/2015 by Susan Hayward
So much high performance camera in such a small body relative to the 1D series. Seems to be the most camera for the price. I use the 5dMark3 for everything from portraits to skiing and biking shoots. On 3/7/2015 by Jonathan Selkowitz
Best I Have Used
In the past 40 years I have used many camera brands and models. I can give you all kinds of technical and scientific reasons for believing that the Canon 5D mark iii is the best I have used, but I won't labor the point. You will either believe me or condemn me depending on your bias. I have as an educator tried my best to be honest and fair in my comparisons and reviews. I believe there is no perfect camera, yet. Everyones needs, budget and style varys. However, I honestly believe the 5D iii is the best in it category. I has substantial pixel numbers of substantial size. It fits my hand like a glove. It is an extension of my eye in the literal sense. It is a work horse with very good battery life. It is backed by an incredibale set of lenses, of which I have many. Some lenses, like the Tilt / Shift series are for a particular type of work. I find them exceptionally handy in the landscape as well as architecture. As a photographer I have used the 5D & 5D ii and the 5Diii since it came out. There is no real complaint I could raise. As Yoda says do or not do there is NO TRY. If it fits use it. You won't regret it. ROn 3/6/2015 by Rodger Newbold
Great wedding workhorse camera
Great wedding workhorse camera. I've bought two of these as my primary cameras for wedding, commercial, portraiture work. The AF is finally reliable enough in the 5D-series and the addition of a second memory card slot is welcome. Though I wish the buffer flush time on the SD slot was faster and not the bottleneck. I appreciate the tight integration with the 600EX-RT flashes. I do wish the raw files had a bit more dynamic range/latitude like Nikon's best offerings. But overall, no complaints, these cameras have served me well.On 3/6/2015 by Kevin Lam
The workhorse of my gear
The 5D MK111 is the one body to have if you need a reliable, dependable, creative tool. I travel constantly with mine and its never failed to bring back wonderful images in spite of the abuse traveling gives it. Sharp, colorful images and great video. On 3/6/2015 by scot zimmerman
The best all round camera
I have shoot piles of cameras and this is the best all round camera that you can own.On 3/6/2015 by Casey Hyer
I shoot sports, low light events, studio commercial work and a lot of video.
This is the camera that everyone compares other cameras too.
Also the raw files can be pushed to create amazing image, more than other companies.
If you want to do it all, buy this.
The gamechanger camera!
I got my Canon 5D Mark III from Pictureline the day it came out, and it's changed my entire career with it! We run a youtube channel of close to 3 million followers, and most of the content we have created on that channel has been with the Canon 5D Mark III. From a film makers perspective, it allows me to film in 1080P, slow motion at 60FPS in 720P, and it's phenomenal at filming in low light, especially for a low budget filmmaker, it's the ideal camera! I have no regrets with this camera! On 3/6/2015 by Devin Graham
My most used camera
I've bought and used just about every Canon camera and the 5d III is by far my most used camera. It's light-weight and amazing file makes me put it in my bag just about every day I go out. It's withstanded sub-zero overnight time lapse's and wet rainy all-day shoot's. I would recommend it to anybodyOn 3/6/2015 by Adam Clark
The Canon 5D Mark III is the best camera I have ever owned! It is "user friendly", and as such--it constantly begs me to "try something different"; to be more creative, and get lost in the moment. Oh, the adventures we have had together! I love my new Canon companion. On 3/6/2015 by Linda Lund
so happy with this camera. it allows me to get great shots in low light. On 3/6/2015 by kelly wills
Picture Quality is King
I bought my Canon 5D Mark III at Pictureline just under three years ago and have used it constantly ever since. The first and foremost attribute of a camera is picture quality, and the 5DMkIII absolutely shines in that regard. Its resolution and color accuracy are outstanding. Its level of performance in low light continues to astonish me. The difficult situations of astronomical scenes and/or city lights make it obvious how good a camera it is. The MkIII is my fourth DSLR... looking through my images, I can generally tell which ones were shot with the MkIII and which were shot with one of the other cameras. The MkIII has not given me one moment of trouble in nearly three years of hard daily use. It is particularly good in difficult lighting situations, including those with high levels of dynamic range. It allows the best lenses including Canon's L lenses to show their quality, and it is not any bigger or heavier than it has to be while giving such a high level of performance. On 3/6/2015 by Keith Finlayson
One of the best all around cameras
I have used this camera for over 2 ½ years. After purchasing my first 5DM3 and using it for a short time I decided to purchase a second body. Most of my prior experience was with the 1Ds series and I found I could buy two 5DM3 bodies for the price of one 1Ds body. For the most part the 5DM3 had better specs than the older 1Ds series. My 5DM3's have been trouble free and have seen fairly heavy use in all kinds of weather conditions. It is an excellent camera for everything from shooting birds in flight to landscapes. The autofocus and metering systems are super accurate. The 5DM3 also has in-camera HDR and multiple exposure capability while the 1DX does not have these features. I am surprised how often I use those features for creative purposes. I routinely use ISO 400 as my base. The low light capability is very good and when exposing to the right (ETTR) on the histogram the noise is very manageable at higher ISOs such as above 1600. The ISO goes as low as 50 and along with using neutral density filters it is possible to slow the shutter speed down to about whatever you want even while shooting in bright sun. This is useful when shooting in-camera or zoom blurs, achieving the effect of silky smooth looking running water and cloud movement during the exposure. Battery life is excellent. The files are very clean and easy to work with. The menus are easy to understand and there are many ways in which to configure the camera to your style of shooting or to solve a particular problem. This is the best all around camera I have ever used.On 3/6/2015 by Jerry Sintz
This camera is by far my favorite camera I have owned. The ISO capabilities are just through th roof. Never been happier with a purchase than I have about this one. :) I highly recommend it.On 3/5/2015 by Tea Brown

Best camera I have ever owned!
I've used this camera all over the world in lots of different climates and it has performed awesome. I even accidentally dropped it in a river while photographing and had plcturline check it out and send it in to Canon to be cleaned properly. Works like it was just taken out of the box.On 3/5/2015 by Scott Reynolds
Pictureline and the 5D Mark lll
Pictureline is the place to go for any photography needs in Utah ! I'm a Canon shooter. recently I purchased the Canon 5D, it was an upgrade to my 2 10D,s that I bought years ago from PictureLine. On 3/5/2015 by Patrick Alexander
And as a treat to my self, I added a 1:2 50mm lens to the cart...and away I go.
PictureLine is literally a one stop shopping center for everything from film to digital and lighting.
The Canon 5D3 is perfect for me.
I bought my 5D3 to replace my 5D2 as soon as it came out. Its vastly improved AF system drove that decision. The camera has always exceeded my expectations, and I shoot just about any hour of the day in any weather.. The camera's low-light response lets me shoot primarily with available light. I do night, sports, wildlife and birds-in-flight photography. I shoot landscapes and portraits. I shoot solar and lunar eclipses. I shot the Venus transit. I shoot video of student performances in a poorly lit auditorium with an awful sound system at 720p with 10,000 ISO and use a Sennheiser shotgun mic to work around the sound system and rowdy crowd. When I am free I am out with my 5D3, looking for new challenges. It's an awesome piece of engineering. It works. It's reliable. It is light on its battery and you can stay "out" for hours with a couple with two 64GB cards . The only thing it's missing is a digital nose..On 3/5/2015 by Andy Marks
Rembrandt Would Love this Brush
The Canon 5D Mk III is such a superb instrument for writing with light that the only limitations on my photographs are my own.On 3/5/2015 by Steve Berlin
It is liberating to know that in challenging conditions such as low light, the image quality will be excellent and the autofocus will lock quickly even when others need focus assist from a supplemental source. Together with L glass, colors are accurate, contrast is strong but never garish, images are sharp corner to corner and the instrument feels good in the hand, well organized, ergonomically designed, comfortable, easy.
A camera is merely a tool, Rembrandt's favorite paintbrush perhaps, but this is a tool that pleases and impresses the visual artist in you each time you pick it up and lets you conjure your best.

Been taking photographs for 52 years.... Best camera I've ever owned
My 5D Mark III is absolutely the best camera I've owned. It is rugged, has a spectacular selection of lenses and after three and a half years still performs flawlessly. I am constantly amazed at the clarity and color rendition. Just buy one.... And see for your self.On 3/5/2015 by Robert Jensen, Ph.D.
Shooting with confidence
This is by-far the best camera I have used. The 5D camera has never failed me I shoot now with confidence. I mostly shoot events and the low-light feature works better than all other cameras. On 3/5/2015 by Shauna Raso
"I'm proud to be a Cannon 5D owner".
I am going into my 2nd year with this camera. I works great! I have the 5DII as well as the 5DIII. The focus is so much faster than the 5DII and exposure right out of the box is better than the 5DII. unless you have the money to go to the 1Dx - this is the perfect camera. I do use it at a high ISO (6400+) and the files work out wonderfully. Planning to keep it for quite a whileOn 3/5/2015 by Glen Ricks - Glen Ricks Photography Inc
I have owned every version of the 5D. The 5D Mark III is well worth the upgrade. It's ability in low light ability changed the way I shoot. The increased frame rate makes it possible for me to use this for skiing, running and is great for lifestyle. For the price it is a must have!!On 3/5/2015 by Tom Bear
Great Camera! Powerful Workhorse!!
Having a Canon 5D MarkIII since it's release, the camera captures excellent image files and has continued to maintain contemporary industry quality standards. A professionals workhorse.
I love my 5D Mk III. It has been a great addition to my studio. As a professional photographer I love this camera for all of the great features that have made it the benchmark in professional camera bodies. Full metal skeleton, full frame sensor, tack sharp images, high quality at higher ISO, rock solid HD video etc. etc. etc. All you have to do is look at any review on any website to find out why this is one of the most popular camera bodies of all time.On 3/5/2015 by Tyson Sugihara
I live/work 40 miles from the store, but it's always worth it to make the trip. I have never spoken to a staff member that wasn't helpful, knowledgeable and courteous.
the 5D Mark lll has made photography too easy
There used to be skill required to take great photos....that is a thing of the past now. Always great photos in spite of myself. for example, with the 5D M lll I can push the limits of low lighting via ISO and it doesn't ever seem to get grainy. Sorry Ansel Adams and Anny Liebovitz, stand-out photographers are a thing of the past.On 3/5/2015 by Chris Hughes
I have heard at photography workshops that the camera does not the photographer make, and while I do agree with this statement... the 5D sure does help a lot! Amazing clear pictures! Loving it! The only drawback I have found so far is it is a lot heaver then the SLR cameras I am use to (Canon Rebels), guess I will get nice strong arms.On 3/5/2015 by Carol
Having had the 5D family camera already, I was sold on the Canon system. After I had borrowed my wife's 5Dm3, it was a Game changer. I love the files and and how clean they are and the ability to enlarge the images because of the fine capture abilities of the Mark 3. I would recommend the camera to anyone and especially the customer Service from Pictueline...simply amazing! On 3/5/2015 by Dennis Hammon
The best all around camera I have used.
I've been using the Canon 5D MkIII since it was released and can honestly say that its the best DSLR I've ever owned. The files are clean, and the low light capability is amazing- I just finished shooting an advertising project in Southeast Asia where one setup required iso 3200, and the files are beautiful with minimal post processing. ISO 100 through 400 are virtually identical. I carry a backup body, but I've never had to pull it out of my bag... focus is fast, reliable, and spot on. Six frames a second is enough for anything I shoot, including dance. I've printed 20x 30's for display and the files hold up perfectly. In fact, my clients produce 4x6 foot prints (and occasionally larger) for point of purchase displays and they look beautiful at normal viewing distances. The battery life is exceptional and I normally shoot all day on two batteries with the Canon BG-E11 grip. On a recent shoot in North Dakota we shot outdoors in temps of -9 F without any loss in performance. The weather sealing works flawlessly in snow and light rain, which gives me confidence when I'm on location. This is a fantastic camera for pro's, or the serious hobbyist, and Canon's system support is the best I've experienced. The new pricing helps as well!On 3/5/2015 by Erik Ostling
Love my 5D MarkIII
The Canon 5D Mark III is by far the best camera I have ever owned. It is user friendly, like all Canons, but incredibly sophisticated. Image quality is superb. The camera is reliable, light reading is good, flash system limited but functional.
Ease of use is a certainty if the user avoids the instruction book
Overall satisfied with it.On 3/5/2015 by Giulia
Cons: doesn't have the autofocus point selection that Nikon D800 has. I find that feature incredibly useful - especially when shooting on a tripod.
Ergonomically intuitive and bullet proof.
The simplicity and dependability make these bodies the perfect choice. I have owned every previous generation and will continue the tradition. On 3/5/2015 by Kirk Anderson

This camera is absolutely stunning for HD film shooting. I've greatly enjoyed using it for photography as well, but the huge full frame sensor really shines in 1080p film making. On 3/5/2015 by Canon 5D MkIII, the best HD film camera, as well as outstanding photos.
I can't explain how it has been to use this camera.
As an aside, Pictureline also has some of the very best support for their products and for their customers, I highly recommend people support such a great company!
Simply the best camera I have owned.
I have used Canon digital cameras beginning with the orginal D30 ... the 5D Mark III is without a doubt the best I have used. I am amazed at the color and detail I find in my images now. If you are considering this camera ... just go ahead and get one, you won't regret it ... ever!On 3/5/2015 by David Gaunt
We've loved using this camera for photo and video! We've used the camera on location and in the studio with great results. Typically we've paired the camera with Canon L lenses, however we have used sigma prime lenses and Zeiss CP2 lenses with great success as well. We are Canon fans and rely on their products daily. On 3/5/2015 by Browning
Our experience with the Canon 5D Mark III
As a major School of Music in the country, we have, as you would expect, many performances locally and in far off places. As it turns out, our ensembles are the most traveled university ensembles in the world. Whether it's in China, Europe, Africa, or New York, we want to capture those moments and experiences in the best possible way and our experience with the Canon 5D Mark III has been tremendously successful. The picture quality is suburb, and the flexibility and features are a perfect fit for the many different conditions found in so many different concert venues. The ability to capture HD video as well makes this camera ideal. It is a trusted partner for all my needs in the documenting and archiving of the performances of the BYU School of Music. I should add, that the service and personal attention we receive from Pictureline is an added bonus. Their professionalism and individual care for us has always been highly gratifying. Wherever we go, Canon and Pictureline go with us.On 3/5/2015 by BYU School of Music

LOVE MY CANON 5D MARK III
I'm a professional photographer in Boise, Idaho. I've purchased many cameras from Pictureline! However, my favorite is the "Canon 5D Mark III." The quality that I receive from the Mark 5D III keeps up with the high quality I need for clients portraits. I have been shooting portraits since 1989 and "I'm a CANON Girl!"On 3/5/2015 by Barb Bergeson
Why the Canon 5D Mark III? I LOVE this camera. In fact, I think this is the best camera I've ever owned and years ago I owned the 1D. I always shoot with two cameras. For about a year, I was shooting one 5D Mark II and one 5D Mark III. I became frustrated that the Mark III consistently took better photos so I noticed I was changing the lens which defeats the point of two cameras. So, I sold the Mark II (for a great price!) and purchased the Mark III. So now I am doubled fisted with the Mark III and thrilled!!!On 3/5/2015 by Julie Shipman
I've used this camera for almost 3 years. It is a workhouse. It's also a bargain considering it is the cheapest DSLR I've purchased. I've previously used all the iterations of the 1Ds. This camera will remain in my lineup until it no longer functions. I will likely buy a third as the price drops with the advent of the new 5Ds.On 3/5/2015 by Matt Green
