Barb Bergeson began taking photos when she was a young child. Her father was a photographer and mentored her throughout her childhood. Her fascination began with the processing of a photograph in the darkroom. After many darkroom spills, she has now practiced photography professionally for 18 years. She has applied her many years of custom darkroom printing and experience to modern methods. With this background, her digital creations have come to be known as truly one of a kind. She continues to receive awards for her photography but to her, happy clients are the best.

Barb has lived in Boise since 1995 and has owned several studios during that time. Her first studio was called Barbara Bergeson Photography, then she became known as bb photography in June of 2000. In the spring of 2007, she changed her name to Virtu Photo Design and now has come full circle with the studio name Barb Bergeson Studio Gallery (She promises no more name changes!). She graduated from Boise State University with a Marketing degree. She and her loving husband have two wonderful boys who are photographed too often.
