I am a photographer living in Park City, Utah with my husband and two children. I studied Drawing and Painting at the University of Utah and have practiced art in multiple mediums since then. A couple of years ago I was introduced to photography and took to it immediately, finding that my impulsive nature is suited well in this field. Having always been drawn to things both artistic and stylish in nature, I love the opportunities photography affords me within those contexts and plan to continue developing my personal style and portfolio as well as my career.

I have people close to me that are very talented photographers so I suppose it was only a matter of time until I joined the party.
That all depends on the day you ask. I am a fickle person that needs constant change and get excited to try new things. Generally I love working with people in various settings and styles but also value landscapes and the time I spend shooting them.

I believe in the inherent authenticity of a photograph. Although I have found post production to be an important part of producing a quality picture, I also feel that using gimmicks and over processing photos only detracts from what they and the photographer are trying to say. I try to carry simplicity, honesty and character though all of my work.
