I have always been a hobbiest but got reaquainted with photography after buying a digital slr "like" camera and playing around with different settings. The results reinspired me to dust off the old 35mm film slrs that my dad had passed down to me.
portraits, sports, landscapes
My interest started as a child watching my father and always wanting to play with his 35mm slrs. He was a hobbiest but took great pictures which were displayed around the house. He handed down his old slrs to me and taught me how to use them. Ironically, I now am reminding him about how to manipulate the settings just right for different situations.
I love taking long exposures of water scenes and always try to capture them at just the right time and speed to get the soft flowing effect of the water.
I use a Canon EOS 40D along with Canon EF, T70 and Elan 7 35mm film cameras.
The eyes see and the mind creates.
Just before and after sunrise and sunset. These hours provide not only the best light but also the best effects for dramatic results.
