I grew up in the Willamette Valley of Oregon where there is never a shortage of opportunities for photography and the great outdoors. After living in England for a few years I did my bachelor's degree in philosophy and am now in my second year of law school at the University of Utah.
My main photographic interests are:
portraits, nature, children
How I got started in photography:
In my Sophomore year of high school a friend and I would skip our computer class and drive to the city to find interesting subjects to photograph. After years of not shooting because of a lack of money I returned to the habit.
Favorite subject:
I prefer industrial locations. A half torn down building or some old farm equipment will always spark my imagination.
Years photographing:
I did photography for a few years in high school and have started up again in the past year.

Favorite time of day to shoot:
I definitely prefer dusk. Some photos can look fantastic in the full light of day but so many are improved by the evening light.
