Living in Salt Lake City, UT, my primary job is as the master electrician at the Pioneer Theatre Company. Outside of that, I am a photographer. I am even employed by the theatre to shoot their publicity and production images. I spend mos of my time as a landscape and nature photographer, though I offer portrait, headshot and other services.

I have to attribute my getting into photography to my father who is also a photographer. He gave me my first camera, some old Canon point-and-shoot with a two step telephoto lens. I was little, but he still called it a “dumb-shit” as it did all the thinking for you. As I got older he taught me to use his Nikon FM, and eventually I got my own SLR.
My favorite subject is the world around us.
Primary camera is a Nikon D700. I have an assortment of lenses including a Sigma 24-70 f2.8 HSM, Nikon 80-200 f2.8, and more.
My philosophy as a photographer? That is a tough question. I think it has to be to capture life and the moment at it's finest.
