I remember my first camera. It was a purple Kodak camera with a Minnie Mouse picture on the side. I don’t even know what happened to that camera, but I do remember the joy I felt when I used it. I also remember wanting to take pictures with my mom’s camera as I got older, and the devastation I felt when I was told not to take too many pictures because I would waste the film. Lucky for me, I now have my own camera and am able to take as many pictures as I want!
I realized early in my life that photography was my calling. Documenting someone’s personality, and their relationship with others was more gratifying than anything I had ever experienced. Providing the art of storytelling in the form of photographs was and continues to be fulfilling.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography from the Art Institute of Colorado. While in school, I perfected my technical skills and had the opportunity to work with many top professionals in the field.
I hope I can capture those fleeting moments that define you and your family. Together we can create photographs that are natural and truthful. I am grateful to have the opportunity to capture moments in your life that will be remembered forever.
When I entered a photography contest and won in 3rd grade.
We have two goals. Our first is to capture you and your family’s personality. To accomplish this, we first discuss your needs and wishes in a personal consultation. We will decide what type of session best fits you based on your tastes, the qualities that make your family unique, how your family interacts, and the type of location that suits you. All of these details will be customized from what your family should wear to personalizing your final display.
Our second goal is to create the art of storytelling. We want to catch those fleeting moments that show the essence of who you are. We believe portraits should show emotion in relationships, the love your family shares, and the personality of each individual. For us, we not only want you to look great, but also remember the good time you had during your portrait session! We do this by capturing these special moments, while everyone looks their best.
