I have lived in Salt Lake City since 1974 and mostly through photography I have been lucky enough to travel around the world. My love of photography and the images captured are fleeting moments of love and light.
I am also a proud daddy to my three kids who continue to inspire me.
My main photographic interests are:
portraits, children
How I got started in photography:
In Jr High, my teacher and now friend John Craigle inspired me to explore the physics of light and film. I will never forget being able to use an Oatmeal container as a Pin Hole Camera.
Favorite subject:
My favorite subjects are People and Architecture.

I have been a professional photographer since 1986.

My philosophy:
Master the technique, then create. I didn't coin this phrase but I have lived by it. I love working with people and bringing out the best in them. A portrait is not for the subject but rather for those that know and love them. Architecture photography is about what man made and how it fits into its environment. How the light brings the structure to life. It is an inspiration to those who will use it.
