Need to return an item? No problem! Our return policy is here to make things quick and easy for you. With few restrictions and a quick turnaround, we'll have you taken care of in no time.

We want everyone that shops at pictureline.com to receive the same standard of quality, which means that we want everyone to receive products in perfectly pristine condition. Our return policy reflects this commitment to our customers, and we hope that it's a win-win for everyone!

What Can I Return?

We accept returns up to 14 days from the date of receipt for all products that meet the following requirements:

  • Items must be unused and unopened.
  • Items must be returned in original condition, and all warranty cards, product manuals, etc. must be in original, unaltered condition.

 

What Can I NOT Return?

  • Opened and/or used items.
  • Sensitized materials, such as film, photographic paper, liquid chemicals, etc.
  • Items received in anything other than original condition.
  • Any Apple products.
  • Any DJI products.

 

What If I Get A Defective Item?

If you receive a defective product, we will happily replace your product at no cost to you!

All defective returns must be made within 14 days of receipt of product. Full manufacturer warranties are supplied with merchandise purchased from pictureline.com. Please call if you have any questions regarding the repairs or services covered under a manufacturer warranty.

Can I Return Special Orders?

If you'd like to return a product you purchased that is not a regularly stocked item in our store, we will happily do an exchange or refund your credit card. There will be, however, a 15-20% restocking fee for us to send the product back to the manufacturer as they charge us to ship the product back to them. This fee is determined when we contact the manufacturer and notify them of the return.

How Do I Return My Item?

1. First we need to make sure your item is returnable, so give our orders department a call at 1-800-748-8200 so we can get you proper authorization.

2. Once you're authorized, just ship your item back to us!

  • Pack all items to be returned in a sturdy shipping carton. (Use the original if you want!)
  • Enclose a copy of your sales receipt. Keep the original for your records!
  • Ship it back by the method of your choice. We suggest you ship by an insurable method, just to be safe!

 

How Do I Get My Refund?

  • On approved returns, refunds will be issued for the amount of the product less the 5% credit card processing fees and any manufacturers restocking fees that may apply.
  • Credit for returns are normally processed within 3 business days from the date we receive the merchandise.
  • Credit will be applied to the credit card given online when the original order was placed.
  • Shipping and handling fees are not refundable.*

We are happy to exchange any purchase for store credit!

What Can I Return?

We pride ourselves on integrity in our business practices, and we will never share or distribute your information with any entity outside of pictureline.com. Email and other personal information gathered from you while you are visiting pictureline.com will be used for the sole purpose of delivering your transactional data and any other information requested.

Our Promise 
pictureline.com does not send spam. Email is only sent out to members who have opted in on our website or in our retail store. We do not purchase or sell email lists of any kind.

pictureline.com will send out a confirmation email that contains a confirmation link when you subscribe to the newsletter.

Each email that is sent from pictureline.com will include—at or near the bottom—a link to unsubscribe from our mailing list. After entering your email address, your name and all information will be completely deleted from our database, and you will not receive ongoing communications from pictureline.com. If, however, you wish to resubscribe at any future date, you most definitely can!

What To Expect From Our Emails 

pictureline.com sends out a monthly newsletter which will only be distributed to you under the following conditions:

  • You request to be added to the pictureline mailing list
  • You sign up for a product update list
  • You add your name manually in our retail store with a pictureline sales associate
  • You request tickets to a pictureline sponsored event

The monthly newsletter will contain news on new products, products updates, price changes at pictureline, and general information relating to traditional photography, digital photography, and motion picture photography.

When you place an order on pictureline.com, you will receive a confirmation of your order, confirmation of when your order ships, or emails related to any issues with your order (such as product being out of stock, etc.).

pictureline does not allow access to credit card information online, but you may access / change / edit your address and contact information by going to the account login.

Instagram Policy

We collect photos that are tagged with #pictureline and use them in a live photo feed on our website. We also may share these photos on our Instagram feed, our contest pages, and the bottom of our Newsletters. By #pictureline you give us permission to use the photos on our website and in any social media platform owned by Pictureline. We will not use the images for advertisement purposes.


Classifieds Terms of Use

Acceptance Through Use

By posting or viewing a classified advertisement on the pictureline Classifieds Site (an "Ad"), you agree to be bound by all of the terms, conditions and notices contained or referenced in these Classified Terms. You should review the Classified Terms from time to time. pictureline Inc. may change any of the Classified Terms at any time and for any or no reason by posting revisions to the Site. Your continued use of the Site constitutes your acceptance of the revised Classified Terms. If you do not accept all of the Classified Terms, you are not authorized by pictureline Inc. to post or view any Ads.

Posting Rules

You must comply with the following rules when posting an Ad:

1. Description

The title you select for your Ad must be concise and limited to the specific goods offered for sale. You may not list multiple brands, makes, models or locations in the title of your Ad as a means to generate unwarranted search results.

2. Content

All Ads must be in good taste and may not contain any objectionable content, as determined by pictureline Inc. in its discretion. Ads for adult goods or services are prohibited. All Ads must be for goods that are permitted under Utah law. You are responsible for the content of your Ad and for providing all relevant contact information and shipping costs if applicable. pictureline Inc. does not control, is not responsible for and makes no representations or warranties with respect to any user content. You are solely responsible for your access to, use of and/or reliance on any user content. You must conduct any necessary, appropriate, prudent or judicious investigation, inquiry, research and due diligence with respect to any user content. You are also responsible for any content that you post or transmit and, if you create an account, you are responsible for all content posted or transmitted through or by use of your account.

3. Contact Information

A pictureline classifieds account is required to post Ads. Accounts are free and require a valid email address.

4. Ad Price

The price field on each classified listing must be the total selling price of the item, this means the price a person is expected to pay at the time of purchase.  You may list additional payment information such as monthly payments allowed, etc... in the classified listing detail field. 

Violations

pictureline Inc. may at its discretion monitor the pictureline Classifieds portion of the Site from time to time. pictureline Inc. may remove or disable Ads that violate the posting rules identified above or which pictureline Inc. considers objectionable or in poor taste. pictureline Inc. may act to prevent anyone who violates these Classified Terms from posting or viewing Ads on the Site and may block access to the Site. Please report all violations using the link provided with each Ad.

No Liability

pictureline Inc. is not involved in the actual transaction between a seller posting an Ad for goods and the buyer purchasing the goods. pictureline Inc. does not have control over, and does not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of, any of the goods or services listed in the Ads posted on the Site. pictureline Inc. does not make any representations or warranties concerning the ability of a seller to sell the goods or services, the ability of a buyer to purchase the goods or services or that a seller and a buyer will actually complete a transaction. You agree to indemnify and hold pictureline Inc. harmless from and against any third-party claim, cause of action, demand or damages related to or arising out of: (a) content that you post or transmit (including but not limited to content that a third-party deems defamatory or otherwise harmful or offensive); (b) activity that occurs through or by use of your account (including, without limitation, all content posted or transmitted); (c) your use of or reliance on any user content; and (d) your violation of the Classifieds Terms. This indemnification obligation includes payment of any attorneys' fees and costs incurred by pictureline Inc.

Watch for Scam Activity

If you see an ad that shows any of the following activity, proceed with caution:

  1. 1. Phone number listed in ad is wrong.
  2. 2. Buyer offers to pay with a money order or cashiers check for more than the asked price. Or if seller asks to have money wired or payed via an online service and states that the item requires delivery.
  3. 3. Buyer or seller requests unreasonable personal or financial information not pertinent to the transaction.
  4. 4. Ad is poorly written, generic, and/or overall strange sounding.
  5. 5. The ad sounds too good to be true.
  6. 6. Buyer or seller says that pictureline Inc. will handle the transaction. pictureline is NEVER involved in any way whatsoever with pictureline Classifieds transactions.

Tips for Avoiding Scams

  1. 1. Avoid scams by acting locally or paying with PayPal.
  2. 2. Never pay with Western Union, Moneygram or other anonymous payment services.
  3. 3. This site is never involved in any transaction, and does not handle payments, shipping, guarantee transactions, provide escrow services, or offer "buyer protection" or "seller certification." Anyone that says otherwise is a scammer.
