Our lighting basics course at Studio Elevn was a hit! With a full house of 25 attendees, Broncolor was able to demonstrate how to create hard and soft light setups and attendees were able to walk away with beautifully lit images of the models. Not to mention, it was the perfect setting for attendees test out Fujifilm's medium format camera, the GFX 50S II.
Description
Join us along with Broncolor and Fujifilm on February 26th from 3:30pm-5:30pm as we explore signature portrait lighting techniques in an intimate environment. Attendees will split into two groups—one focused on hard light and the other on soft light. There will be an additional hour from 5:30-6:30pm for those who would like to stay and shoot longer.
We will take the mystery out of lighting and inspire you to think like an artist through the creative process. Attendees will have the chance to see Broncolor rep, Blake Griffin, demonstrate the lighting first hand, then give some of the lighting setups a try on their own.
Fujifilm rep, Luis Navarro, will be available with some GFX 50s II cameras to try out. The GFX 50s II's are remarkable cameras that capture stunning detail and resonate with portrait and landscape photographers alike. Get to Know Blake Griffin:
Blake has been a portrait photographer across and around the US for 15 years. The Georgia-based creative received a BA from Montana State University in filmmaking and photography. He has also held positions across the entire photography industry from Capture, to Print and everywhere in between. these days, Blake is the Brand Marketing Manager for broncolor USA, part of MAC Group.
