We had a great time last Saturday during our Creative Lighting Photowalk. Our group explored portrait and product lighting techniques with continuous lighting. Attendees were able to collaborate, network, and try something new. The results were diverse in color and perspective. Thank you to everyone who joined us last weekend!
Description
Join us on January 21st from 3:30-5:30 pm as we explore both signature portrait and product lighting techniques using continuous lighting from Aputure. Attendees will split into two groups—A portrait station where we will be working with model, Logan Cooper, to explore the possibilities using colored lighting. We will explore color theory and how to change the mood of your photos using different colors. The second station will be focused on product photography where we will use gobo’s to create realistic-looking textures mimicking sunlight and shadow along with color lighting to change the background to any color we’d like. Attendees will spend half the time at each station switching halfway through. This event is perfect for those who want to explore various lighting concepts for video or photography.
We will take the mystery out of lighting so you can focus on thinking creatively throughout the entire process. We will have lighting experts at each station to help guide you, answer any questions, and provide some inspiration during the shoot. This event is great for photographers of any skill level, and you can expect to leave with some amazing images for your portfolio and new ideas for future shoots.
