Join Michael Corrado in this free online webinar as he talks about many of the tricks and tips for making dynamic images of the beautiful birds in your own backyard. He’ll cover very important things to consider such as camera and lens selection, understanding specific autofocus modes for tracking with precision and various camera settings that work best for birds in flight or perched.

You’ll learn about his intense, yet patient approach to getting closer to the birds while protecting and respecting their natural environment. He will also delve into the power of remote photography and embracing state of the art technologies that will impact the types of images you want to create.

This class will be a precursor to the Bird Photography Photowalk at Farmington Bay on Saturday, April 23rd.

Get to Know Michael: 

Michael Corrado has been a photographer and visual artist for over 40 years and has recently celebrated his 36th anniversary with Nikon. He currently holds the title of Sr Manager of Nikon Professional Services and Pro Relations and the host of Nikon’s Creator’s Hour and Nikon LIVE Unscripted shows where he has interviewed many of the most talented photographers and filmmakers in the industry today. Michael created and is the creator of the Nikon Ambassador Program that partners with Nikon’s most talented and respected talent in the business today.

Michael’s extensive career has included time as a Nikon School instructor, Pro Markets Technical Representative and Sr. Product Manager for digital SLR cameras. Michael has had the great fortune of training, working with, and shooting for some of the world’s greatest photographers including astronauts from NASA, while contributing his own still images and video capture globally for Nikon. He was a contributing writer and photographer for Nikon World Magazine and has content published regularly on Nikon’s Learn and Explore website. As a producer, director and photographer, Michael has supported many Nikon productions including brochures, ad campaigns, TV commercials and educational DVDs.
