Designed to seamlessly transfer RAW and JPEG files from camera to computer without a cable, the Tether Tools Air Direct Wireless Tethering System uses 802.11 AC dual-band Wi-Fi® to deliver images to compatible tethering software. This system operates at a range of up to 200 feet, and uses its own power source so the camera’s battery isn’t subject to more rapid draining. USB batteries or AC wall power supplied via the included DC cable may be used for longer shoots, and power sources may be swapped out without shutting down.
