New in the Lume Cube 2.0, however, is a higher CRI of 95, meaning more accurate color rendition, a fixed 5600K daylight color temperature, and a wider 80-degree beam angle. An increased battery run time of up to 1.5 hours at full brightness means you won’t have to stop shooting to recharge. Button reconfiguration, as well as seamless integration with an easy-to-use app, allows you to quickly adjust light levels. A new low-light mode provides additional control over incremental light adjustment for creative long-exposure shots. Updated housing provides quicker and easier access to the charging port, which has been upgraded to a USB-C configuration.
