This is a must-have accessory when setting up the camera in a remote location where a cable release is either unavailable or inaccessible.

The Bluetooth communication used by the RMT-P1BT provides reliable remote control even in bright sunlight, or when there are obstacles in between the remote and the camera. It also allows for two-way communication, so the remote can get valuable feedback from the camera to confirm operations, further adding to the increased reliability over older wireless remote offerings.
Clear Visual Feedback
The RMT-P1BT uses an LED to either flash or illuminate continuously to indicate the status of the shutter, movie recording or AF lock, so users can tell what's happening with the camera, even without having direct access or line of sight to it.
Comprehensive and Precise Control
The RMT-P1BT has all of the essential camera controls built in: focus buttons, operation lock, movie start/stop and power/digital zoom. There are also two custom buttons that mirror the functions assigned to the C1 and AF-ON buttons on the camera body. The buttons on the remote are designed to offer clear tactile feedback, to help ensure accurate transmission of commands.
