Return Policy

At pictureline, we are extremely proud that unless very clearly marked, all products we sell are new, unopened, and purchased directly from the manufacturer or their authorized distributor. Products that have left the store, been tested, or are otherwise opened, will be labeled and advertised as such, and have a discount associated with them. Our return policy reflects our commitment to being fully transparent with our customers, and only offering the best quality products. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, we are happy to process a return based on the following conditions.

ELIGIBLE ITEMS:

We accept returns up to 14 days from the date of receipt for all products that meet the following conditions:

  • Items must be unused and unopened.
  • All items, warranty cards, manuals, accessories, etc. must be included in original, unaltered condition.
OPENED / USED ITEMS:

Opened / Used Items are returnable, but will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Opened / Used Items must meet the following conditions in order to qualify for a partial refund.

  • All items, warranty cards, packaging, manuals, accessories, etc. must be included in original, unaltered condition. Items must be in the same new condition as was received by the customer. Products that have signs of wear may be refused or subject to additional restocking fees.
NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS:
  • Special order items (not regularly stocked)
  • Items not in original condition
  • Sensitized materials (film, photographic paper, or liquid chemicals)
  • Consumable items (batteries/chargers or ink)

RETURNING YOUR ITEM:

First, call our support team to receive authorization for your return, or visit us at our store.

  • Once authorized, ship your item back to us!
  • Pack all items to be returned in a sturdy shipping carton (use the original if you’d like)
  • Enclose a copy of your sales receipt, keeping the original for your records
  • Ship it back by your method of choice - we can provide a label and deduct the cost from your refund
  • We suggest adding shipping insurance as we can not cover any damage caused in transit
REFUNDS:
  • Once items are approved, refunds will be issued to the original form of payment (minus applicable fees)
  • 3% processing fee will apply unless issued as in-store credit
  • Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable
  • Credit for returns are normally processed within 3-5 business days from the date we receive the merchandise
  • An additional fee may be applied if items do not meet the return criteria and need to be sent back to the manufacturer
DEFECTIVE ITEMS:

If you receive a defective product, we will happily replace your product with the same or equivalent item at no cost to you! Some manufacturers have policies requiring replacement product be sent directly from the manufacturer rather than exchange by the retailer, and in those cases we will or assist you in receiving a replacement directly from the them. Defective items from Atomos, BlackMagic, DJI, and Hasselblad must be exchanged directly with the manufacturer. All defective returns must be made within 14 days of receipt of product. Full manufacturer warranties are supplied with merchandise purchased from pictureline for coverage after 14 days. Please call if you have any questions regarding the repairs or services covered under a manufacturer warranty.

The EF-M 28mm f/3.5 Macro IS STM is the world's lightest macro lens*, featuring a total length that's less than 2.0 inches so you can take it just about anywhere with its easy portability. To help ensure pictures with minimal blur while capturing details and small objects, the EF-M 28mm f/3.5 Macro IS STM also features advanced Hybrid IS image stabilization technology.


World's first lens with a built-in Macro Lite which, when enabled, automatically supplies light to your photos as needed, helping to provide a better sense of depth and dimension.

Lighting extreme close-up macro shots can be tricky. The built-in Macro Lite helps make this easier with LEDs that are integrated into the front of the lens, which allow a range of illuminating possibilities. Setting both sides of the light to maximum brightness can reveal previously hidden details and add sparkle to shiny subjects like jewelry or watches. Setting only the left or right side to either bright or dim settings can help create a better sense of depth and give dramatic dimension to minute details.


World's first autofocus lens capable of focusing at infinity in normal shooting and macro shooting with up to 1.2x magnification.

The excitement of macro photography is being able to show something small in a big way. The EF-M 28mm f/3.5 Macro IS STM's Super Macro Mode lets you get in even closer at up to 0.305 ft./0.093m from your subject. This allows you to see even more detail, fill more of the frame with what you want to highlight and keep unwanted background to a minimum. When using the EF-M 28mm f/3.5 Macro IS STM for non-macro “normal” photography, it's capable of focusing all the way out to infinity just like a standard lens. This is this first time this has been possible in an autofocus lens.


Hybrid IS helps reduce camera shake for enjoyable handheld photography.

Image stabilization helps minimize blurring in an image due to the small movements common when taking handheld photos. The Hybrid IS system on the EF-M 28mm f/3.5 Macro IS STM is the same system used in several of Canon's most advanced EF lenses, and is able to minimize the effects of shakes in the vertical plane (up and down), as well as tilting or at an angle.


Stepping motor (lead screw-type STM) helps provide smooth and quiet operation when taking photos, and near-silence when shooting videos.

Whether you're taking a close-up photo of a ladybug on a flower or a video of a dog's cheerful face, you don't want noise that startles your subject. The EF-M 28mm f/3.5 Macro IS STM uses a lead screw-type stepping motor (STM), which helps ensure fast autofocusing and near-silent operation while recording videos.


One UD lens and two aspherical lenses help deliver outstanding results at all zoom settings by reducing chromatic aberration.

The acute lens top shape on the EF-M 28mm f/3.5 Macro IS STM is specially designed for close-in image capture. The center assembly of the lens is smaller than the main body, allowing the front lens element to get extremely close to your subject. At the same time, the main body is set back so it doesn't cast a shadow onto what you're photographing, or bump against the shooting surface as you get in for that detailed macro image. Combined, these features provide easy, convenient photography that's virtually unhindered by unwanted shadows from your equipment.
