Join the Beyond the Wild team—Mark Raycroft and Ron Hayes—for an unforgettable evening of wildlife photography at Antelope Island. Set against one of Utah’s most iconic landscapes, this hands-on workshop is designed to help you capture compelling images of bison, pronghorn, and other native wildlife during the golden hours of light.
Taking place on Thursday, May 14th from 6:30pm–9pm, this field session focuses on real-world techniques for observing animal behavior, composing impactful images, and working with changing light in a natural environment. Mark and Ron will share their approach to positioning, timing, and storytelling to help you come away with stronger, more intentional wildlife images.
Check-in will be at the parking lot right before the Antelope Island entrance booth at 6:30pm. Please be on time! Antelope Island State Park has provided us with wristbands and parking passes allowing us free entrance into the park. Attendees MUST have a wristband to get in the park.

We will then carpool down to Farr Ranch area and make out trek around the Island from there.
