Step into the world of movement and light with Utah-based photographer Dave Brewer in this on-location dance photography workshop. Set in downtown Salt Lake City at Exchange Place and the Boston Building, you’ll work with two professional dancers and learn how to capture powerful, expressive images in an urban setting.
Known for his clean, vibrant style and deep experience photographing dancers both in studio and on location, Dave will share techniques for posing, working with talent, and using Profoto lighting to elevate your shots. Bring your Profoto remote if you have one—gear will be available to use on set. From scouting unique locations to freezing motion with precision, this hands-on session is perfect for photographers looking to expand their skills and build their portfolio with dynamic dance imagery.
We will be meeting in front of the 39 E Exchange Place Building at 7:30am.
