Description

Join us along with Negative Supply on February 11th from 3:30 pm-5:30 pm as we explore the process of digitizing film. This class is for anyone who wants to learn how to scan their film quickly and easily from home. We will cover common problems and solutions for getting high-quality digital files.

We encourage attendees to bring their own film but will have negatives and positives available on-site for anyone who needs materials to work with. This is a hands-on opportunity to use a camera, copy stand, and light source setup to quickly make crisp digital files without the limitations that come with a flat bed scanner.

Hilary Freed will also be joining us from Ilford. She will be available to walk people through the process of developing their own black & white film. For those who want hands-on practice loading development reels with film and getting more information about independently developing film, this would be an opportunity you don't want to miss.

Rick Renteria:  I've been with Negative Supply since 2022. I am a Customer Care Consultant as well as a Sales Specialist and I'm thrilled to be exploring the world of film photography. My favorite camera to shoot with is a Pentax Auto 110, a quirky and compact 110 SLR.

Brennan McKissick:  Brennan is the Business Development Manager for Negative Supply.  He has been a part of the film community for over 15 years and loves his Leica M3 and Leica IIIG.
