"When Newborns make you Feel Like Newbies: Surviving a Newborn Session"

Come learn the basics of newborn photography. The class is designed to help photographers of all levels learn how to comfortably pose and photograph their tiniest subjects. We will go over newborn physiology, preparation, props and wrapping techniques, posing, posing with siblings, posing with parents, editing, and even some business structure ideas. It is a workshop jam packed with information and one you won't want to miss if you have (or want to have) newborns in your studio!

Heather Pickett is Salt Lake City’s award winning newborn photographer. She began her photography career in 2011 and has since become the nation’s first Certified Professional Photographer to be certified on a purely newborn portfolio. Heather has earned recognition both locally and nationally during print competition including IPPA's Rookie of the Year and two national loan titles, “The Balancing Act” and “Intertwined Hearts.”
