The MeFoto GlobeTrotter Carbon Fiber Titanium is a compact yet sturdy aluminum tripod that weighs only 3.7 lbs but supports up to 26.4 lbs. You can mount either your mirrorless or DSLR camera with telephoto lens and have all the sturdy support you need. The GlobeTrotter also converts to a monopod in seconds with no tools necessary, offering you unprecedented versatility. The GlobeTrotter is small and compact while you're on the go, but it extends to over 5 ft. tall when you need height to capture the shot.
The MeFoto Globe Trotter tripod's legs each spread independently with two-position leg angle stops. There's also a spring-loaded recessed hook, located in the bottom of the center-column where you can hang additional weight from the tripod's center of gravity for additional stability. Lastly, the GlobeTrotter has separate head and pan locks along with a bubble level so you can adjust with precision.

Converts to Monopod
For times when one leg is better than three, the Globe Trotter easily converts into a monopod. It also features a foam grip that will certainly come in handy when the tripod legs heat up or freeze over.
Twist Lock Legs with Anti-Rotation System
The GlobeTrotter's legs feature MeFOTO's innovative rubberized locking grips combined with anti-rotation legs, which enable fast and fumble-free set-up plus weather and dust-resistance.

Two Leg Angle Positions
For extra flexibility, you can independently lock the Globe Trotter's legs in place at two different angles. This is especially hand when shooting in cramped spaces or rocky surface areas.
Recessed Center-Column Hook
A spring loaded recessed hook, located in the bottom of the center-column, allows you to hang additional weight from the tripod's center of gravity for added stability.
You can invert the GlobeTrotter tripod's legs back 180°making it less than one quarter of its' extended size—16.1" to be exact.
Separate Head and Pan Lock
The Globe Trotter features individual head tension and lock knob as well as pan lock help to make the right adjustment.
Integral Bubble Level
