This Month's Presentation
Trained in the sciences and working professionally in the information technology field, Jeff Clay is largely a self-taught photographer that has been creating images for over three decades. In early 2008 he launched Clayhaus Photography to focus on fine-art landscape, architecture, and travel photography.
Reflecting different personal interests, Jeff’s photographic techniques and subjects are also diverse. Gothic cathedrals, modern architecture, dusty mediaeval villages, remote desert valleys, these and more are all parts of the varied canvas he photographs. He also utilizes unique photographic techniques and tools including infrared photography, black and white conversion, bracketed exposure blending, and the panorama format.
Since starting Clayhaus Photography, Jeff has had numerous solo shows as well as been part of group gallery exhibits. He has also won a number of professionally-judged competitions and is currently exhibiting his work at the Local Colors of Utah Gallery in Salt Lake City.
