NIkon D300 wins camera of the year 2007

The Nikon D300 has been selected as the recipient of the "Camera of the Year" award from Popular Photography Magazine. This award is given to the camera that "best refined or redefined photography".

The D300 has broken lab records, and is "the first DSLR to earn an Excellent image quality rating from ISO 200 all the way up to ISO 3200. It sport the fastest and most sophisticated AF tested so far."

Some of the other advanced features included in the D300 include a fast burst rate, D-Lighting and Capture NX v1.3.
