The new firmware (v1.107) for the Leica M8 and the instructions for updating the firmware is available for all Leica customers from starting July 27, 2007. The firmware, will be available as a free download on the Leica Camera AG homepage under the following link:

The changes in the new firmware are minor but help optimize the general image reproduction and functional features of the Leica M8.
