The Original Lensbaby uses an uncoated single optical glass element. It captures images with glowing highlights, subtle prismatic color shifts and the trademark Lensbaby graduated blur. It is a favorite among artists, students, and toy camera users. The original Lensbaby has aperture plates for f/2.8, f/4, f/5.6, and f/8.
The Lensbaby 2.0 builds on the original design but adds a coated, low dispersion and high refractive optical glass doublet. It is capable of tack sharp images, and has a maximum aperture of f/2.0.
The Lensbaby 3G uses the same optics as the 2.0, but adds three bellows locks which allow the user to set any bellow configuration, fine tune it, and lock it into place. This incredible feature allows the photographer re-produceable results for an entire shoot.
