Get Inspired: Introducing the New Panasonic LUMIX BGH1 4K Cinema Box Camera

Designed with multi-camera productions and live streaming in mind, the latest from Panasonic is a dream come true for content creators at every level. Featuring a 10.2MP Live MOS sensor capable of 13 stops of dynamic range, the LUMIX BGH1 can shoot unlimited footage in virtually any video setting—including 10-bit 4:2:2 C4K at 60p, both standard and anamorphic. Dual native ISO technology means clean imagery with minimal noise, even in very low light.

This lightweight and easy-to-install box camera adapts easily from traditional broadcasting and cinema production to shooting on drones/gimbals and vehicles for ultimate versatility. The aluminum and magnesium alloy body is remarkably rugged, and a new heat dispersion structure with an integrated fan keeps things cool for hours of uninterrupted shooting.

And—a first for the LUMIX line—simultaneously record HDMI externally while monitoring SDI output, and control the camera remotely with USB or LAN tethering. Use the Panasonic LUMIX Tether for Multicam software to control up to 12 BGH1s for incredibly efficient video production, even at larger live streaming events with more than one presenter.

The Panasonic LUMIX BGH1 4K Cinema Box Camera is $1999.99 and is now available for preorder. Expected availability is December 2020.
