This Leveling Base is specifically designed for the RRS Versa Series 3 tripods. Simply remove the top plate from your tripod and replace it with this robust leveling base. The base locks and unlocks with a simple twist of the handle, providing smooth and fast leveling, no matter the load. Weighing in at only 12.2 ounces, this leveling base is the lightest of its class on the market.
The RRS leveling base incorporates our TA-3-VB Video Bowl, making it easy to install and remove. The leveling base can be removed while leaving the video bowl installed, and the video bowl will accept any accessory/head that uses a 75mm Video Bowl. This innovative design provides maximum versatility and convenience for photographers who need to switch between different heads or accessories quickly.
