Product Information
The Sigma 50-120mm F2.8 DC OS | Contemporary is an APS-C mirrorless zoom for Canon RF-mount cameras. Its constant F2.8 aperture spans short-telephoto through telephoto perspectives, while Optical Stabilizer (OS) is controlled from the camera body.
Built for APS-C mirrorless
This DC lens is designed for APS-C sensors. It can be fitted to a full-frame mirrorless camera, but its image circle does not cover the entire sensor, so crop mode may be required.
Optics and handling
The 18-element, 13-group optical design includes one FLD, three SLD, and four aspherical elements. The Canon RF version has a 55mm filter thread, an 11-blade rounded diaphragm, and a camera-configured control ring.
Weather-conscious construction
The lens has a dust- and splash-resistant structure for use in light rain, but it is not waterproof. Sigma advises turning stabilization off when the camera is fixed on a tripod.
