Enjoy Specific Benefits When You Join the Canon Professional Services (CPS) Program

If you’re a Professional Canon shooter, then you should know about the Canon Professional Services (CPS) Program. There are four types of membership packages to choose from—Silver, Gold, Platinum and Cinema. Each package provides specific benefits to those who are emerging professionals to full-time cinema industry professionals. As a CPS member, you’ll receive benefits like exclusive phone and email support, equipment loans, expedited and discounted equipment repairs and on-site support. Below, we will go through each package and what it includes.

To qualify, your equipment is assigned a point value on the Qualified Products List. Points are accrued as they are entered on your CPS account to qualify for Silver, Gold or Platinum. You’ll need 10 points to qualify for Silver, 20 for Gold and 50 for Platinum. In order to qualify for the Cinema membership, you’ll need to have an item on the Qualified Cinema Product List.

Silver

Canon Silver CPS membership

If you qualify for the Silver plan, it’s free! Here’s what you get:

Canon Gold CPS membership

The Gold plan comes with an annual fee of $100, but you get your money’s worth. Benefits include:

  • Access to Equipment Evaluation Loans (Try Before You Buy Program)
  • Expedited two (2) Business Day Service Turnaround Time on DSLR and EF Lenses listed on the CPS GOLD REPAIR LIST
  • 20% discount on repairs on CPS GOLD REPAIR LIST products on up to 10 items per membership term
  • Repair Coverage Loans Free return shipping on CPS GOLD REPAIR LIST products sent in for service

Canon Platinum CPS membership

As for Canon’s top imaging Platinum plan, there is a $200 annual fee. Benefits listed below include:
