Today, Canon introduced two new instant camera printers to its IVY lineup—The IVY CLIQ and the IVY CLIQ+. Canon's president and chief operating officer explained that the IVY printer has made a major impression on the Gen-Z and Millennials this past year who have a passion for creativity and expressing themselves through photos.
Now more than ever, it is easy to capture, print, and share memories on the go. Here's what to expect from the latest IVY products.
The IVY CLIQ Instant Camera Printer has five-megapixels and an automatic-flash. This new instant camera can print 2x2 or 2x3 stickers and provides a selfie mirror for those insta-perfect shots. There is a Micro SD slot, allowing users to export photos to their laptop or PC and a USB port for charging. Interestingly enough, the IVY CLIQ is the same size and weight as the original IVY printer, so now it's easier to take and print your photos on the go. It comes in three vibrant colors: ladybug red, bumblebee yellow, and ocean blue.
IVY CLIQ +
The IVY CLIQ+ is an eight megapixel camera that can connect via Bluetooth to the Canon Mini Print app. The app features a variety of photo design options such as filters, photo frames, and text to create original photos. There is even a setting to record your own on/off shutter sound.
No need to fret when it comes to taking group shots because it offers remote shooting capabilities and when you want to share a photo with a friend, it offers a reprint option so users can print an additional photo. This camera not only provides a Micro SD card slot but also a selfie mirror surrounded by a ring of either four or eight LEDs. The CLIQ+ is available in colors such as Pearl White, Sapphire Blue, and Ruby Red.
The Canon IVY CLIQ Instant Camera Printer and the IVY CLIQ+ are scheduled to be available at pictureline in April 2019 at an estimated retail price of $159.99 and $99.99. Each camera and printer includes a starter pack of 10 sheets of 2x3 photo paper.
