Our Rental Selection Just Got More Impressive!

NewRentalItemsHeaderWe are finally able to share our favorite products with you through our rental program! This week, Pictureline has introduced the name Sigma to our rental selection with 35mm and 50mm f/1.4 Art lenses for Canon and Nikon! Known for their clarity even at wide open apertures, Sigma has elegantly perfected these wide angle and standard lenses to help you create tack-sharp images of any subject matter.

On top of our new Sigma lenses, we have finally made the Profoto B2 Location kit available to rent. The battery-powered B2 Location kit comes equipped with two off-camera flash heads, each weighing only 1.5 pounds; and two lithium-ion battery packs, which allow mobility to overcome any lighting challenge, and fit comfortably within the compact carrying case. Each head supports up to 250 watts of power per flash – 5 times more powerful than the average speedlight, and half the power of the much larger Profoto B1 lamp heads.

The Profoto B2 is geared toward on-location sets and travel photography. They are the weight and size of an average speedlight, but maintain all the benefits that made the B1 a success: Built-in Air TTL, High-speed Sync, and lightning fast recycle time. At full power, the B2 will recharge in 1.35 seconds. At lower power settings, it will produce up to 20 flashes per second, eliminating the risk of missing that perfect shot waitingFeaturedImageB2RENTAL for the flash. The High-Speed Sync (HSS) functionality of the B2, offers you full control of the available light. The built-in reflector creates a wide and even light spread that is beautiful on its own. The best part? All of your favorite light modifiers from Profoto are compatible with the B2 heads. Beauty dishes, soft boxes, barn doors, and more are all interchangeable between lighting systems. Additionally, Profoto has released a set of smaller OCF light shaping tools to mesh specifically with the new B2 kits.
